DCAF Health Clinics

Will Resume in 2009 Under Direction of Danielle K. LeVangie

It is a pleasure to announce that the DCA Board of Governors at its December 2007 meeting approved Ms. Danielle K. LeVangie to serve as Director of the National Specialty Health Clinics. Her charge is to ensure that the Health Clinics will resume successfully with the 2009 Show. It has been unfortunately necessary to cancel the Health Clinics for the 2008 National Specialty due to budgetary considerations and insufficient volunteer support. Ms. LeVangie is a past President of the Dalmatian Club of Canada, and has also served the DCA through the Health & Research Committee, Obedience Committee, and as a Road Trial Judge. She will be seeking volunteers to assist in the work of the Health Clinics, and she will be developing an operational plan and budget for the 2009 National Specialty Health Clinics. As in the past, the 2009 Health Clinics will receive support and supplemental funding from the Dalmatian Club of America Foundation (DCAF).

J. Charles Garvin, M.D., President , DCA

Irvin B. Krukenkamp, M.D., Chair, DCA Health and Research Committee
